I had the pleasure of meeting GardenChef Paul the creator of the garden burger. I live in Los Angeles where every restaurant has their version of the garden burger whose name has morphed into the veggie burger. Some have been phenomenal and some not so much. Because tastes are subjective I'll not reveal which ones I love and which ones I'll pass up.
What I will say is that I love this garden bar idea and execution. There are five flavors one of which gets top honor by my palates standards. American Savory, Indian Savory, Italian Savory, Japanese Savory and Mexican Savory. These bars are not sweet but little meal genres in clever packaging where you associate the genre with the color of the packet:
I love all of these genres of food and gardenbar brilliantly translates those food favorites into theses 1.76oz individual packets. Each have a shelf life of 1 year so no pressure to eat them in a specific present time frame. Although I can eat sushi everyday and my favorite restaurant in LA is a tiny bistro on 3rd Street, my favorite gardenbar is Indian Savory. After sampling all I must say that it is refreshing to eat a bar that is not sweet but pretty satisfying like a small meal with the delicate balance of salty and savory however the Indian bar has a combination of natural spices which mirror yellow curry which is sweet to my palate. And as a woman who will take a bite of frosted cake chased with a potato chip to get the salty/sweet sensation this one bar ranks #1.
All of these garden bars are great so my apologies about my bias view I just love curry but I can't ignore the other flavors. Please visit the website here to order your variety pack so that you can pick a favorite as well. Once you do leave a comment so that we can open a discussion. I may just reveal the restaurant/deli/mom & pop that makes the best garden burger in my opinion.

ReplyDeleteBe careful with love, because love can also make healthy people sick, fat people become thin, normal people become crazy, the rich become poor, the king becomes a slave, if his love was greeted by false lovers.
