This past weekend me and a few friends tried a new spot in LA for bio-dynamic spirits that are considered to be green and sustainable. I'm always on the hunt for environmentally friendly/green drinks.

Public School 612 is a bar/ restaurant in downtown Los Angeles. We started with the wild mushroom and Taleggio Lavash pizza and continued with a fantastic Thai noodle salad. Paired with our meal we ordered a few beer choices. None of us are actual beer drinkers because of the heavy and bitter after tastes but we all loved these yummy choices:
Hitachino Nest White, Japanese beer - light taste of orange, ginger, pear and spice
Caracole Amber, Belgium beer - light taste of orange peel, and caramel
Maui CoConut Porter, Hawaiian beer - heavier tasting flavors of toasted coconut, vanilla and coffee
This beer list should come in handy to all of the readers who seek beer choices but are unhappy with what is constantly marketed to us. I'm here to say that there is life beyond Heineken, Corona and Miller Lite.
Now for the red and white wines:
"Eco Balance" Bio Bio - Sauvignon Blanc, Emiliana
Sustainable Red - Mendocino
Cheers!
