The San Fernando Valley Green Building Task Force (SFVGBTF) is a subcommittee of the Valley Green Team. The VGBTF is comprised of public and private volunteers from influential organizations in the Valley that collectively stand as THE resource for green building best practices. The mission of the VGBTF is to inform and educate residential and commercial property owners and businesses in the Valley about the processes, procedures, rebates, incentives, financial benefits, and standards for green buildings and energy efficiency measures throughout the San Fernando Valley." The VGBTF strongly believes that building green can be the catalyst for the the growth of a prosperous, socially and environmentally responsible, healthy, and sustainable future for the San Fernando Valley.
