I posted this subject on my Essential Bindi blog and thought it was so special that I wanted to post it here as well. Yesterday, my father was having a day of events that did not align the way that he set them up. Needless to say he was annoyed. Have yaw'll ever had one of those days? So when he received this gift from me, in the midst of his day, it lifted his spirits and put a smile on his face. Yes that's my Dad holding my gift delivered special from the equator. For all of the skeptics - that rose is real; no digital special effects, plastic, wire, silk or paint was involved. He told me how wonderfully fragrant it is as well as being beautifully colored.
I did plan for the gift to be delivered yesterday but of course I didn't know that my Dad's day was going to be Topsy. So I was happy that it all turned out so well. Dad resolved the kinks in his plans
and received a surprise bonus from the coolest person in the family. God winks at us and lets us know that He is there and that He cares.
We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude. --Cynthia Ozick

How sweet of you to do that for your dad, first of all! And I have NO DOUBT that you're the coolest person in your family, both nuclear and extended.
