Oh I remembered the blog where I first discovered Wordles. Grains of Sand. is by a fantastic woman named Vashti living abroad in Durban South Africa as the director of a non-profit organization. When you have a moment please visit her blog, Grains of Sand. It is all about her life, family and extended family depicted with the most amazing photos, Vashti also has an interesting philanthropic blog called Rich Bride, Poor Bride, check it out too.
A recap for our regulars and a quick explaination for those who are joining us for the first time, This is a mind bending exercise; nothing to win accept bragging rights that you figured out a difficult word puzzle. Let's see if you can figure out the Wordle for today. I'll announce the winners later this week [probably on Friday] in order to give more people a chance to play.
Today's Wordle is a quote from Henry Kissinger , the 56th Secretary of State of the US and Nobel Peace Prize winner in 1973. When I read it I knew it would become one of my favorites. On your mark, get set... GO!
Hello, hon! So nice to meet you and thank you for visiting me. Love your blog. I love puzzles and quizzes and this is the first I have ever heard of Wordle. I'm intrigued. So far it's making my walnut rattle. I am on my way to learn more about Wordles and to check out Grains of Sand. Have a wonderful day my dear!
ReplyDeleteI can see I am grossly uneducated as this is another quote I did not know offhand.
ReplyDelete"A diamond is a chunk of coal that is made good under pressure." Very encouraging sentiments there!
I can see that Carma beat me to it! :) I have been out of the house all day, but had to log in to let you know I came by. I intentionally didn't scroll down till I thought it thru...but came up with the same as above.
ReplyDeleteGood one - and I hope this comment finds you well :)
