SITScation swag update - Wonder Balls

(photo courtesy of Mystic Wonders Inc.)

Hey ya'll,

In case any of you were wondering about the box of strange looking balls that we received in our gift bags labeled Complete Laundry System, [for those who don't know what the heck I'm talking about, my apologies but read on anyhow...] I've completed three loads of laundry [whites, darks, and linens/towels.]

At first I was skeptical because I wasn't thinking 'outside of the box.' How can anyone wash clothes without using detergent? But I had to give this system a try.  I walked by this box for weeks and finally said, what's the worst that could happen?  The answer to that is that my clothes wouldn't be clean and I'd have to wash them over again. Since that was the worst of it I finally gave the system a try.   I'm happy to report that the system works.

My clothes are clean and they smell clean [TMI right?] as I opted to just use The Wonder Ball alone without detergent.  My clothes [these three loads at least] are free of chemicals.  That Spring fresh or Mountain fresh scent is really just a mix of toxic chemicals that can be harmful to you and your family on many levels.  After all clean does not have a fragrance.

"Sometimes it happens—you sneeze and you itch and it's all because you wear your clothes. Well, it's notreally because you wear your clothes, but rather how you wash those clothes.
Most detergents are pretty general in nature and their manufacturers don't give a second thought to the condition of the clothes' wearer's skin. If you are irritated by laundry detergent, you'll have to do some homework...
Just because you may be allergic to mainstream detergents doesn't mean that you're doomed. You can still have clean clothes and not suffer from allergic reactions. If you do some homework..."

Nor do my clothes smell like chlorine - in L.A. this is a problem. I'm currently investigating filtered shower heads. And the dryer balls have eliminated the static cling that usually occurs.  It's a mystery and I'm a happy camper.

Kudos to Fern Gunderson of  Mystic Wonders Inc. for a money saving and enhanced mineral blend invention.  These wonder balls last for three years before you'd want to replace them.

Please visit their site because it is chock full of resources and FAQs.   Read a powerful testimonial here.

[Full disclosure:  Mystic Wonders Inc. has agreed to be the proud sponsor of my next Wordle Wednesday challenge.  Come on over and play, I'm excited that if you win, you will get to experience this pretty great laundry system too.]  Thank you Fern!

  5. I admire your quest for a non-toxic life! I've never even heard of these (because I live under a rock)and am, therefore, mystified. How can you leave a girl hanging without explaining the "HOW" of these gadgets? And the price?
