Okay how sad is it that my blog post references a film that I haven't even seen yet but c'est la vie. I understand that the film is about a young woman who for 365 days cooks her way through Julia Child's cookbook and blogs about it. Well in our bloggy world we have wonderful foodistas. That being said why not cook my way through my favorite foodie blogs just to blog about it? I probably won't commit to 365 days but I can commit to 7 days, one day at a time.
The caveat is that I'll be blogging about the food on Essential Bindi. So please read my other blog for the next few days and we'll see how it goes. I want to give my other blog some love. What is one of the better ways to show your love? Through food :-)
The blogs that I have chosen to stalk are:
Peas (Heart) carrots - Mathea has built up quite a following for herself. She's as adorable as her food inventions.
Black Girl Chefs Whites - Cheryl has chosen an unconventional name but the dishes are to die for...
Eatwritethink - which is formerly A Vegetarian In The Middle East. Rajani decided to alter the look of her blog and it's inviting because she blogs about more than food since she is a mommy, a writer and a filmmaker.
Live.Love.Eat - A blog world favorite. And I believe a SITS featured blogger last year.
Rather than Julie & Julia, I should probably call my posts Dale & Mathea & Cheryl & Rajani & Steph. Follow along, it'll be fun!
It's a great movie! Great!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to send Chef Stu over to read the foodie stuff. I don't do food. Don't hate me. I don't shop or cook or even clean the kitchen. And no, I'm not kidding.
PJ, PJ, PJ
ReplyDeleteHow is it possible that you not 'do food'? I trust you but geez, really? That's funny stuff.
What a great idea! I watched Julie & Julia and thought it was really done well so I definitely suggest watching it but in the meantime I love your own mini version. Good luck! :)
