Tuesday Toast - Epilogue

I am on the (e)mailing list of a online organization called Charity Focus.  Every day I receive their publication called the Daily Good.  Imagine a daily online publication that brings nothing but good news.


Today they featured a NY Times article that was first published on 11/14/09, about a woman named Terarai (pronounced TEH-reh-rye) Trent who with only an elementary school education will receive her Ph.D next month from Western Michigan University.


Please take a few minutes to read her Times story story of survival and determination here.  Print it and keep it by your work area so when you feel defeated about anything you can look at this article for inspiration!  You may also read about and watch her appearance on Oprah here.

    I saw her on Miss O's show...What an inspiration!
    You know, it's said that we're more afraid that we have limitless power than that we're powerless...and I have a sneaking suspicion that's because we'd hate to have to call ourselves lazy...
